Steve Volta

I started playing guitar at the age of 16 listening to the 80s guitar heroes like Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert and Joe Satriani.
After three years of practising I realized that it could be a good idea to record myself playing guitar so I bought a 4-tracks cassette recorder. Then I realized that I needed a band so I called some friends and started to play. I can write it now so easily but it was a tough path. Though, hey, it has finally happened and I love it!
In 2002 Roby Beccalli and I created Perpetual Fire band and we're still here playing our music!
In the meanwhile I have worked - yep, I still do!- as a professional musician playing gigs with famous artist (Pino Scotto, Maurizio Vandelli, Pandaemonium) and teaching in schools and private lessons.
I played hundreds of concerts and shared the stage with Extreme, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Twister Sisters, ZZ Top and others.
There's still a long way to the top and I'm always ready to go!
